Kauri Springs Lodge is an unforgettable venue for private parties including family reunions, engagement and birthday parties, anniversaries and more. Located on a six-acre private garden on beautiful Waiheke Island, the Lodge is a wonderful setting for formal or informal gatherings for up to 100 guests. 

We are a fully-serviced venue with impressive event spaces and entertaining areas, both indoor and outdoor. Our venue consists of two private homes and a hire business that provides equipment, furniture and extras you'll need for a memorable celebration.

We are proud to offer large and well-designed spaces where guests get to enjoy beautiful and spacious indoor and outdoor settings; you'll feel like you've arrived at a truly special place. The well-established gardens are extensive and lovingly tended to, and they create a lush green backdrop for a memorable celebration.

All guests have exclusive use of the venue, facilities and gardens, so you'll enjoy a totally private setting for the duration of your stay. This hidden gem is the perfect canvas to create a tranquil, cosy and intimate getaway for your special celebration.

3. The convenience factor

We are a venue hire business offering flexible spaces as well as onsite catering, accommodation and event support. Additionally, we hire out equipment, furniture and table settings for your event, and take care of everything from the venue set up to event coordination, service staff and security. 

4. Easy onsite accommodation

We cater for a day event, or if you're after a longer stay, we have accommodation onsite. Across the Lodge House and Guest House, we have nine bedrooms onsite that can sleep up to 20 people (based on a twin-share or double occupancy). We recommend our guests stay an extra day or two on either side, to fully experience everything that the Lodge and Waiheke have to offer. 

5. Bring your own beverages

Kauri Springs Lodge does not carry a license to sell or supply alcohol on our premises. Guests are advised that they need to bring their own beverages, including alcoholic beverages, if they intend to consume them during their stay.  And best of all, we do not charge corkage fees. Guests have full use of our impressive Garden Bar and the storage room with two commercial-sized fridges for beverages.

6. A bit of pampering

While you are here, you can pamper yourselves with the Balinese-style saltwater spa pool or enjoy spending time with your friends and family in our many entertaining areas. Relish in the peace and tranquillity of the Lodge and its stunning garden surrounds. And use it as a base to discover the beaches, vineyards and relaxed vibe of Waiheke Island.

Two-day minimum booking from October through to April

Packages

We offer daily hire and onsite accommodation packages for up to 30 people.

Should you require the Lodge for more than one day, we can offer multi-day packages to suit.

Kauri Springs Lodge is located in the centre of idyllic Waiheke Island - just a short 35-minute ferry ride from bustling downtown Auckland. Waiheke is considered by many to be a paradise of beach, bush, vineyards, restaurants and outdoor pursuits and has fast become a favourite location for events and getaways.

3. Onsite accommodation

We are one of the few venues on Waiheke that offers private accommodation onsite. Set in a private and tranquil sub-tropical wonderland, the Lodge House and Guest House can accommodate up to 20 people (based on twin-share or double occupancy) over nine bedrooms. We can also organise offsite accommodation should your requirements exceed our available room configurations.

4. Catering and beverages

Onsite catering is available through one of our preferred island-based caterers who offer a delectable variety of menu options for your reception. You can also choose to have your other meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner or canapes - catered during your stay. Kauri Springs Lodge is not a licensed venue, so we do not sell or supply alcohol on our premises. Beverages are brought by guests, and best of all, we do not charge corkage fees.

5. Full service

We offer event and accommodation services, from setting up the venue through to event support during your stay. Enjoy daily room service, barista-style coffees, friendly wait staff and an event coordinator for your event. Our professional staff are always on-hand to offer any assistance to make your event a success.

Kauri Springs Lodge offers a range of equipment, furniture and amenities for your event. From elegant furniture and stylish table-settings through to sound equipment such as microphones and speakers, we can provide a variety of items for your event.
